Details of the Job/Internship

Jerome Merchant + Partners is hiring Associates with 2–7 years of experience to join their Corporate & Transactions team in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in M&A, private equity, venture capital, and strategic investment transactions.
• Draft and review commercial agreements and transaction documents.
• Conduct legal due diligence and prepare related reports.
• Support negotiations and coordinate with clients, counterparties, and internal teams.
• Provide general corporate and commercial advisory support.

Eligibility

• 2–7 years of PQE in corporate and commercial law.
• Experience in M&A, PE/VC, and general corporate advisory.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
