Details of the Job/Internship
Lawmen & White (L&W) is looking to hire Associates in Delhi.
Number of Positions: 3 (Three)
PQE:
- Associate – Minimum 3 years PQE.
- Associates – Minimum 1-2 years PQE.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting and Documentation: Prepare a comprehensive range of legal pleadings and documents for all courts in India, including, but not limited to, special leave petitions, counter affidavits, rejoinders, writ petitions, and other essential legal instruments.
- Case Management: Develop case notes, precis, and written arguments for briefings and case management.
- Briefing Counsel: Coordinate with and brief senior counsel(s) on designated matters.
- Court Representation: Appear and argue in judicial forums, ensuring comprehensive case/ file management.
- Legal Research: Conduct thorough research on assigned cases and legal propositions.
- Procedural Support: Assist in filing, case listing, and managing procedural requirements efficiently.
Eligibility
- Bilingual Proficiency: Strong command over both English and Hindi, essential for drafting and communication.
- Legal Acumen: Up-to-date with the latest legal developments and procedural intricacies.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to identify solutions to complex legal problems.
- Time Management: Capable of working under pressure and meeting urgent deadlines.
- Teamwork and Leadership: Proven ability to work collaboratively and, when required, lead a team.
- Professionalism: A well-read individual with a strong work ethic, ready to multitask in a dynamic environment.
