Details of the Job/Internship
VERTICES PARTNERS is expanding its Corporate Practice and is hiring Senior Associates and Associates to join its teams in Mumbai and Delhi-NCR.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and support complex corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
- Draft, review, and negotiate high-stakes commercial agreements and investment documents.
- Provide strategic legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Take proactive ownership of client mandates from inception to closure.
- Conduct detailed legal due diligence for investment and divestment activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure "clarity of thought" in all legal strategies.
- Represent the firm in negotiations and stakeholder meetings with a focus on value creation.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
- Strong foundational knowledge of the Companies Act and SEBI regulations.
- Demonstrated capability in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
- Exceptional analytical thinking and a high degree of professional ownership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client management.
