Details of the Job/Internship

S&A Law Offices is hiring an Associate/Senior Associate with 3+ years of experience in indirect tax to join their upcoming office in Hyderabad.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide advice on classification, rate of tax, applicability of exemption notifications, eligibility of input tax credit, job work, liability to pay tax on import of goods and services or under reverse charge, and valuation under GST laws.
• Assist clients in obtaining and surrendering registration, filing refund claims, reviewing data, and filing monthly and annual returns.
• File monthly GST and annual returns and refund applications.
• Conduct GST health checks for clients.
• Draft and file show cause notices, appeals, submissions, and writ petitions before departmental authorities, tribunals, High Courts, and the Supreme Court.

Eligibility

• 3+ years of experience.
• CA or LL.B. from a top-tier law college.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
