Details of the Job/Internship

Pine Law Partners LLP is hiring an Associate/Senior Associate with experience of 3–4 years to join their international corporate/commercial team on a remote basis. This is a full-time, remote role with exposure to high-quality legal work and intensive training.

The selected candidate will primarily support the corporate team on US law-related work, including M&A, corporate finance, venture capital, fund formation and representation, and international commercial matters. The role requires working during US hours.

Compensation will be at par with or above tier-1 law firms in India and may vary based on skills and experience. Role and Responsibilities

• Support the corporate team on US law-related matters, including M&A, corporate finance, venture capital, fund formation, and international commercial work.
• Independently evaluate complex legal issues and provide solutions to clients in clear and simple English, both orally and in writing.
• Synthesise large volumes of information and present conclusions and recommendations to clients.
• Identify and assess legal risks and opportunities with strong problem-solving skills.
• Work collaboratively as a team player with strong analytical and consultation skills.
• Maintain excellent drafting skills with high attention to detail.
• Work independently with a strong work ethic and ability to perform under pressure and tight timelines.

Eligibility

• Mandatory qualification as an Advocate in India with at least 3–4 years PQE.
• Mandatory LLB or equivalent degree from an Indian national law school or equivalent, with a top 20% batch ranking.
• Mandatory prior experience with a tier-1 corporate law firm in India in M&A, Private Equity, or General Corporate practice.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Applications, including Excel and Word.
