Details of the Job/Internship
SK Attorneys is seeking experienced legal professionals to join its growing Dispute Resolution team in New Delhi. Associate (4–5 years PQE) and Senior Associate (7–8 years PQE).
Role and Responsibilities
- Represent clients before the Delhi High Court, District Courts, and specialized Tribunals (NCLT, NCDRC, etc.).
- Draft and finalize complex pleadings, including Writ Petitions, Plaints, Written Statements, and Appeals.
- Lead and manage domestic and international Arbitration proceedings from invocation to award enforcement.
- Conduct exhaustive legal research on intricate points of law and judicial precedents.
- Brief Senior Counsel and coordinate strategy for high-value commercial litigations.
- Manage client relationships and provide strategic advice on dispute avoidance and settlement.
- (For Senior Associates) Mentor junior team members and oversee the quality of drafts and filings.
- Navigate the procedural nuances of the Delhi original side and appellate jurisdictions.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution.
- Associate Level: 4–5 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in Litigation.
- Senior Associate Level: 7–8 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in Litigation.
- Preferred: Prior experience working with a reputable law firm in a similar practice area.
- Exceptional drafting, analytical, and courtroom advocacy skills.
- Deep understanding of the Code of Civil Procedure (CPC) and the Arbitration and Conciliation Act.
