Details of the Job/Internship

Holland & Knight LLP is hiring Attorney Counseling to join their office. Candidate must reside and be barred in a jurisdiction where we currently have a U.S. office location (Offices | Holland & Knight (hklaw.com). Ideal candidates will be located in either Boston, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, or Tampa.

Eligibility

• 7-10 years legal experience; experience working in-house, either as a full-time employee or secondee strongly preferred
• Admission to bar in state of practice
• Deep familiarity with key U.S. and global privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act/California Privacy Rights Act, Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, Colorado Privacy Act, and EU General Data Protection Regulation
• Experience assessing legal exposure and designing work plans to bring clients into compliance with new and varied privacy laws
• Experience conducting processing risk assessments and working with clients to document data flows and related requirements
• Experience developing and leading training for more junior associates
• Telecommunications industry experience preferred
• CIPP/US certification preferred
