Details of the Job/Internship
Slice is hiring an AVP – Legal with 8–12 years of experience in banking and financial laws to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and RBI guidelines.
- Interpret and implement regulatory updates relevant to Small Finance Banks.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, loan agreements, NDAs, vendor agreements, and MOUs.
- Advise business teams on structuring new products and services in line with regulatory requirements.
- Support digital and technology-led product launches with legal frameworks.
- Review board resolutions, policies, and legal aspects of strategic initiatives.
- Conduct legal risk assessments and maintain document repositories.
- Coordinate with external counsel, monitor litigation, and represent the company in courts and tribunals.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a reputed university; CS or LL.M. preferred.
- 8–12 years of legal experience, preferably in the banking sector.
- Strong knowledge of RBI regulations, banking laws, and contract law.
- Prior in-house legal experience in a bank or financial institution is desirable.
