Details of the Job/Internship

HDFC Capital Advisors Limited is hiring an AVP – Legal to join its office in Mumbai. This is a full-time, on-site role involving providing legal advice on investment transactions, particularly structured financing and venture capital, and handling legal issues arising from real estate and financing transactions. The role requires close coordination with internal stakeholders, external law firms, and relevant departments.

Role and Responsibilities

• Providing legal advice on investment transactions, including structured financing and venture capital.
• Handling legal issues related to real estate and financing transactions.
• Liaising with external counsels for legal due diligences.
• Conducting and analysing legal due diligence, especially in the real estate sector.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and legal documentation.
• Managing corporate governance matters.
• Ensuring alignment of legal work with organisational objectives and policies.
• Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, external law firms, and relevant departments.

Eligibility

• Law degree from a recognised university.
• Strong knowledge of banking and finance laws and transactions.
• Strong knowledge of the real estate sector and title due diligence.
• Knowledge of finance-related legal requirements and regulations, including IBC and SARFAESI.
• Experience in the real estate sector and understanding of affordable housing policies is advantageous.
