Details of the Job/Internship

Rainmaker is hiring Law Graduate for the position of AVP with Legal & Compliance Team to join their office in Mumbai/Remote.

Role and Responsibilities

• Compliance Training: The candidate will receive extensive training to excel in the role of a trainer in all our compliance offerings. The candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of compliance training programs for clients, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Content Creation: The candidate will create high-quality content for various mediums, including but not limited to blogs, research papers, social media, learning management systems (LMS), and ad hoc assignments. The content will be accurate, relevant, and engaging to the target audience. Additionally, the candidate will offer guidance and support to other members of the legal function in content development.
• Legal Research: The candidate will conduct comprehensive legal research to analyze legal issues and provide guidance to the team at Rainmaker on legal matters and/or queries. They will stay updated with relevant case law, statutes, and regulatory changes that may affect the organization.
• Compliance Product Development: Market research will be conducted by the candidate to understand the current and prospective clients' needs and regulatory requirements. Based on the research findings, the Candidate will help develop compliance products and solutions that align with market demands and meet regulatory standards, assisting the client in achieving compliance objectives.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University.
• Strong Legal, Analytical, Communication, and Interpersonal skills.
• Preferred experience or knowledge in PoSH, Code of Conduct, Data Protection and Privacy, Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption, Prevention of Insider Trading, and ESG.
• Familiarity with diverse legal topics and the ability to simplify complex legal concepts for non-legal audiences.
• Proficiency in using legal research tools.
• Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
