Details of the Job/Internship
Lex Favios is hiring a Banking & Finance Lawyer with 2–5 years of experience to join its office in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and vet title search reports for immovable properties, including chain of title, encumbrance checks, and marketability opinions.
- Review and draft loan agreements, deeds of hypothecation, mortgage and charge documents, guarantees, and related security documents.
- Conduct due diligence on borrowers and collateral.
- Coordinate with Sub-Registrars, ROC, and valuers.
- Finalise conditions precedent and subsequent for lending transactions.
- Liaise with bank officials and internal stakeholders for documentation and clarifications.
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and RBI norms.
Eligibility
- Law graduates with relevant post-qualification experience.
- 2–5 years of experience in banking, real estate, or security documentation practice.
- Prior experience working with banks or NBFCs on loan and security documentation is preferred.
- Experience in title due diligence and enforcement matters including SARFAESI and DRT is preferred.
