Specific Title is hiring a Bankruptcy Records Specialist to join its legal support and financial services team in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed bankruptcy filing searches using PACER across federal jurisdictions.
- Retrieve and review petitions, schedules, dockets, and discharge notices.
- Analyse and summarise findings for internal teams or client reporting.
- Verify case details, including case number, debtor information, filing chapter, status, and key dates.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with legal and regulatory standards.
- Prepare written reports and maintain search logs.
- Collaborate with attorneys, compliance officers, or financial analysts.
- Stay updated on PACER system changes and bankruptcy court procedures.
Eligibility
- Experience with PACER or in legal support, paralegal, or financial compliance roles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in online research and electronic record systems.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
- High school diploma required; associate degree or paralegal certificate preferred.
