Details of the Job/Internship

Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Limited is hiring for the position of Branch Legal Manager to join their offices in Karnataka.

Role and Responsibilities

• Well-versed in legal terminology and operations.
• Strong understanding of LAP, HL product (SARFAESI product will be added advantage).
• Knowledge of current legal tools applicable, industry practice.
• Sending legal notices and intimations letters to delinquent customers.
• Filing relevant suits and initiating legal actions in case of no result of sending notices.
• Coordination in case of arbitration, conciliation or any other alternate dispute mechanism available as per case.
• Coordination with external legal counsels in case of any legal suit filed by or against the company.
• Follow-up for Delinquent cases for resolution in which legal tool has been used.
• Need to work closely with the team on NBW, Arbitration Cases and Repo Cases.
