Details of the Job/Internship

Henkel is hiring a Brand Protection Manager with experience of 3–4 years to join their office in Navi Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Execute regional brand protection initiatives aligned with global business objectives.
• Partner with internal departments including Legal, Marketing, and Sales to build a robust brand protection network.
• Manage online brand protection vendors and collaborate with e-commerce platforms to remove infringing listings.
• Work with product managers to enhance design features that increase the difficulty of copying products.
• Oversee a clear process for technical product verification and reporting of counterfeits.
• Coordinate with legal counsel to investigate and take action against counterfeit operations and gray market activities.
• Collaborate with customer activation and sales teams to communicate brand protection efforts to the market.
• Analyze data and track key metrics, such as market value released and total takedowns, to recommend proactive measures.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Preferred: Advanced degree in Law or Intellectual Property (IP) certification.
• 3 to 4 years of experience in brand protection, anti-counterfeiting, or IP enforcement.
• Familiarity with trademark and IP laws in India; understanding of MEA/Turkey regulations is a plus.
• Proven experience working with law enforcement, customs, or online platforms.
• Strong project management, analytical, and English communication skills.
