Details of the Job/Internship

ZURU is hiring a Brand Protection Specialist with experience of 1–3 years to join their office in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor global e-commerce platforms (Amazon, eBay, Flipkart, etc.) and social media for IP infringements.
• Identify and verify counterfeit products, unauthorized sales, trademark dilution, and copyright piracy.
• Collaborate with law firms and platform legal teams to execute the removal of infringing listings and websites.
• Draft and review English legal documents, including cease-and-desist letters and infringement complaint forms.
• Coordinate with Indian IP attorneys and international teams to align on enforcement strategies and evidence collection.
• Liaise with the Intellectual Property Office to address complex or persistent infringement cases.
• Maintain detailed case logs and prepare performance reports for global leadership regarding takedown outcomes and emerging risks.

Eligibility

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or equivalent legal degree is preferred but not mandatory.
• 1–3 years of experience in IP enforcement, takedown operations, or corporate legal roles.
• Mandatory experience handling IP infringement cases for brands, e-commerce companies, or law firms.
• Strong command of English legal writing and the ability to draft precise, actionable documents.
• Results-driven mindset with the ability to manage multiple urgent takedown processes simultaneously.
• Prior experience addressing unauthorized sales by manufacturers or independent websites is highly preferred.
