Details of the Job/Internship

Believe is hiring a Business Affairs Senior Leader with experience of 7–9 years to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice throughout the catalogue acquisition lifecycle in India and South East Asia.
• Oversee and conduct independent legal due diligence with a focus on IP and content rights.
• Draft, negotiate, and review legal documents including Asset Purchase Agreements (APAs) and Non-binding offers (NBOs).
• Manage closing and post-closing activities, including warranty claims and M&A-related litigation.
• Collaborate with Central Legal teams to address material deviations from templates and mitigate IP risks.
• Develop local contract templates to enhance speed and scalability while maintaining group standards.
• Maintain up-to-date legal intelligence on regional IP law and regulatory developments.
• Support business teams in scaling the catalogue acquisition model throughout the Asian market.

Eligibility

• Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Business Law with combined expertise in IP and M&A.
• Professional Experience: 7–9 years within law firms or as in-house counsel.
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience in IP/content rights-related transactions and corporate law.
• Skills: Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills in English.
• Preferred: International education or experience working in a multi-country setup.
