Details of the Job/Internship

Piramal Finance is looking for passionate and driven legal professionals to their team as Business Legal Managers (BLMs). Ideal candidates should have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in real estate, property, or mortgage laws within the financial services sector.

Positions Available:

• BLM – Howrah: Responsible for Howrah & Durgapur Clusters
• BLM – Patna: Responsible for all branches across Bihar & Jharkhand

Role and Responsibilities

• Independently handle property legal matters and provide legal clearance.
• Collaborate with panel advocates for title verification and due diligence.
• Ensure compliance with real estate regulations, stamp duty laws, and mortgage rules.
• Keep track of legal updates, case laws, and government notifications relevant to property law.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure documentation and legal formalities are complete.
• Prepare regular legal reports and flag risk areas proactively.

Eligibility

• LL.B. graduate from a recognized university.
• 3–5 years of experience in real estate/property/mortgage laws.
• Strong understanding of local property laws, land acquisition norms, and title search procedures.
• Proficient in legal research, decision-making, and cross-team collaboration.
• Comfortable with travel within assigned clusters.
• Must demonstrate integrity, ownership, and solution-centric thinking.
