Details of the Job/Internship

Bar & Bench is hiring a Business News – Reporting and Management Associate with 1 - 3 years of PQE.

Role and Responsibilities

• The individual will be expected to report on corporate deals, law firm news, edit, and review press releases, and engage in research consultative article writing with law firm Partners and senior legal professionals. 
• The candidate will closely work with the Editor in Chief and a small team on law firm-related content. 
• The candidate will also have to publish news on social media relevant to the news.

Eligibility

• The candidate should be a law graduate and should have a good command of the English language and understand business and law news reporting.
• You should be able to think on your feet and have an entrepreneurial spirit to bring on board new ideas and innovative ways to engage law firm content for our platform. 
• Fine-tuned soft skills in networking and developing interpersonal skills will be a major plus. 
• You should be able to curate and create interview questions impromptu and have the ability, interest, and confidence to engage in a camera-facing setup. 
• Regularly you will be expected to also engage in administrative backend work to communicate with law firm professionals on the status of publication.
