The Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution, Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab (CADR–RGNUL) is dedicated to promoting research, scholarship, policy dialogue, and capacity-building in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). The Centre aims to bridge the gap between academic discourse and real-world ADR practice, addressing persistent lacunae in dispute resolution frameworks and fostering meaningful engagement among scholars, practitioners, and the ADR community.

The CADR Blog serves as a platform for publishing high-quality scholarship on contemporary developments in ADR. It integrates academic and professional insights, advancing socio-legal and socio-political justice through dispute resolution mechanisms. The Blog features analytical articles, opinion pieces, case comments and short notes on emerging trends in arbitration, mediation, negotiation, conciliation, Lok Adalats, and related areas.

- Analytical submissions are strongly preferred over descriptive ones.

Types of Submission and Word Limit
- Blog Article / Research Piece / Opinion Essay / Case Comment / Short Note
- Word Limit: 1000–1500 words (excluding endnotes)
- Longer manuscripts may be accepted in parts at the discretion of the Editorial Board.
Submission Guidelines
- Originality
- Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
- Any form of plagiarism will lead to immediate disqualification.
- AI Policy
- Use of AI tools to generate or refine content is strictly prohibited.
- Manuscripts found wholly or partially AI-generated or AI-edited will be rejected
- Language
- Submissions accepted in English or Hindi.
- Co-authorship
- Maximum two authors.
- Anonymity
- No name, institution, or identifying details should appear in the manuscript or filename.
- File Format
- File must be in .docx format.
- References
- Hyperlinks only.
- If a source has no link, OSCOLA 4th Edition endnotes may be used.
- Copyright
- Upon publication, copyright vests with CADR–RGNUL.
- Moral rights remain with the author(s).
- The CADR Blog publishes exclusive content; previously published work must not be submitted.
- Cross-posting
- Allowed only with prior permission.
- Must state: “First published on The CADR Blog.”

Dates to Remember
- Rolling submissions (no deadline).
