Details of the Organization
The call is from the Centre for Information Communication Technology and Law (CICTL), a flagship Centre at Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU), Mumbai. MNLU Mumbai is a premier National Law University in India, established under the Maharashtra National Law University Act, 2014. The University’s Chancellor is the Hon’ble Mr. Justice Bhushan Ramkrishna Gavai, Chief Justice of India.

This is a Call for Blogs and not a conference or seminar. The CICTL Blog on Technology Law (CBTL) provides in-depth coverage of major developments in technology law, including analyses of landmark judgments, legislative changes, and new issues.
Topic of paper/Blog
The theme shall be related to Data Protection, Artificial Intelligence, Fintech, Cybersecurity, and Digital Governance or any theme relevant to the Technology Laws.
Eligibility
Contributions are invited from a wide range of individuals. This includes Students and Ph.D. Scholars , Independent researchers and academicians , and Legal practitioners and Judges.
Types of Submission and Word Limit
- Word Limit: Do not exceed 1,500 words (excluding endnotes). The Editorial Board may allow longer entries or publish in two parts at their discretion.
- Format: Submit in MS Word (.doc/.docx) format.
- Font/Spacing: Main body must be Times New Roman, size 12, 1.5 line spacing. Footnotes (if used) must be size 10, single spacing.
- Citations: Use hyperlinks for references where appropriate. Essential citations must be provided as endnotes following the OSCOLA (4th edition) style.
- Originality: Must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere. Work showing over 15% similarity will be immediately rejected.
- Authorship: Maximum of two authors per submission.
- Anonymity: Manuscripts must not contain any identifying author information (name, affiliation, contact details).
- Responsibility: Authors confirm their work does not infringe on third-party rights and are solely responsible for any resulting legal issues.

Submissions to the CBTL are accepted on a rolling basis.
Formatting Guidelines
- Entries must be submitted in MS Word (.doc/.docx) format.
- The main body of the manuscript should use Times New Roman, font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing.
- Footnotes, if used, should be in size 10 with single spacing, and citations must follow the Oxford Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA, 4th edition) as endnotes.
- Authors are encouraged to use hyperlinks for references where appropriate.
