The Law Society Review is an annual academic publication brought out by the Law Society, Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). The Review provides a scholarly platform for teachers, legal practitioners, researchers, and students to engage in critical discussions on contemporary legal and policy issues at both national and international levels. The 2026 Edition focuses on advancing reflective and rigorous legal scholarship and will be published in an edited book format carrying an ISBN number.

Types of Submission and Word Limit
- Research Papers: 3,000 – 5,000 words
- Essays / Articles: 2,000 – 3,000 words
- Case Comments / Legislative Comments: 1,500 – 2,500 words
- Opinion / Perspective Pieces: Up to 1,000 words
Submission Guidelines
- Submissions must be original and unpublished.
- All manuscripts must include an abstract (up to 250 words) and relevant keywords.
- Co-authorship up to three authors is permitted.
- Acceptable similarity index: not more than 10% (excluding references).
- AI tools may be used only for basic grammatical correction; generative AI is strictly prohibited.
- Any use of AI tools must be disclosed in an acknowledgment note.
- A cover letter must accompany submissions containing:
- Title of submission
- Author name(s)
- Institutional affiliation
- Contact details
- Submissions must be made in .docx format.
Formatting Guidelines
- Font: Times New Roman
- Main text: 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing, justified
- Footnotes: 10 pt, single spacing
- One-line gap between paragraphs and headings
- Citation Style: OSCOLA (4th Edition)
