Located at Gujarat National Law University, the Centre bridges the gap between academia and industry, offering a platform for students, professionals, and stakeholders to explore the evolving landscape of sports governance, intellectual property, contract law, and media rights. Details of the Blog/Paper
The GNLU Centre for Sports and Entertainment Law (GCSEL) invites submissions for the "Pitch & Pixels" Blog, a platform for discussions on sports law, media law, and entertainment law. The Centre aims to promote research, awareness, and dialogue in these areas, recognizing the need for ongoing exploration as these industries evolve.

- Enthusiasts.
Types of Submission and Word Limit
- Articles should be between 1000 and 1500 words. Longer or shorter pieces may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Submission Guidelines
- Submissions should align with the themes of sports law, media law, and entertainment law. A diverse range of topics within these themes is encouraged, including but not limited to copyright, personality rights, ethics, broadcasting rights, and antitrust issues.
- Co-authorship (up to two authors) is permitted.
- Facts, authorities and other sources should be duly hyperlinked. Citations should be used only if an online source is unavailable. Citations shoild be in OSCOLA format.
- Submissions must be original, well-researched, and based on credible sources. Clear, concise writing is essential. The use of visual aids, such as images or infographics, is encouraged, provided they are relevant and properly credited.
- The article should be an original work of the author and not under consideration for publication in any other journal or blog. The work should not be plagiarised. Any form of plagiarism will lead to disqualification for publication on the Blog.
- The blogs will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
Formatting Guidelines
- Font- Garamond; Font size- 12; Line spacing- 1.5.
- The document should be justified.
- Footnotes (if used) shall be in Garamond, font size-10, line spacing- 1.0 and justified.
