Details of the Organization
The National Law School of India Review (NLSIR) is the flagship, bi-annual, student-run, double-blind peer-reviewed law journal of the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru. The journal is widely recognised for its academic rigour and has been cited on multiple occasions by the Supreme Court of India. NLSIR publishes high-quality scholarship on issues of law with particular relevance to the Indian legal system.

Types of Submission and Word Limit
- Long Article: 5,000 – 10,000 words
- Essay: 3,000 – 5,000 words
- Legislative / Case Comment: 2,500 – 5,000 words
- Book Review: 2,000 – 3,000 words
- Word limits are exclusive of footnotes.
Submission Guidelines
- Submissions must be original and unpublished.
- All manuscripts must be submitted only through the NLSIR Digital Commons Repository.
- Manuscripts must be:
- Submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format
- Anonymised and must not contain personal identifiers
- Accompanied by a cover letter and an abstract of approximately 150 words
- Submissions will undergo editorial review followed by double-blind peer review.
