Details of the Job/Internship
Teamd is hiring a Caseworker/Legal Assistant for a full-time role in Coimbatore, working Monday to Saturday from 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide advice and guidance to clients on family law, focusing on Non-Molestation and Occupation Orders.
- Deliver patient, professional, and empathetic support to clients in crisis.
- Collaborate with solicitor partners to manage a complex caseload.
- Prepare case bundles, witness statements, and supporting legal documents.
- Maintain organized client files and case administration.
- Meet monthly targets for case preparation and completion.
- Ensure strict confidentiality and compliance with legal standards.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
- Understanding of family law principles; prior experience in legal support or social services preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong empathy and ability to work with vulnerable populations.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple cases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; target-driven with commitment to quality client care.
- Compassionate, professional, resilient, self-motivated, and passionate about social justice.
