Details of the Job/Internship

Chugh, LLP is hiring for the position of CEO – Law Firm with 15 years of experience to join their office remotely. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the firm’s India operations, ensuring seamless alignment with global strategy and organizational goals.
• Provide visionary leadership to the executive team, fostering a culture of high performance, innovation, and accountability.
• Drive operational excellence across all functions including legal practice management, client service delivery, business development, and compliance.
• Build and nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders, representing the firm with integrity and professionalism.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in legal firm operations and maintain full compliance with domestic and international regulatory standards.
• Develop and execute strategic growth plans to expand market presence and service capabilities in India.
• Monitor financial performance, oversee budgeting and risk management, and drive initiatives for sustainable, profitable growth.
• Promote a culture of ethics, agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all levels of the organization.
• Act as a key liaison between India operations and the global leadership team, ensuring consistency and synergy.

Eligibility

• Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen and currently residing in India.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a CEO or equivalent executive leadership role at a top 20 Indian or global law firm.
• Mandatory Background: Extensive hands-on experience in managing the operations of a large, reputable law firm in India.
• Demonstrated success in legal industry leadership, especially in strategy, operations, and client relations.
• Strong knowledge of legal practice management, client engagement, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven business acumen with the ability to develop and execute strategic and operational plans.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; able to influence and lead across all levels.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams in complex, fast-paced environments.
• Advanced degree preferred: MBA, LL.B., or equivalent from a top-tier institution.
