Details of the Job/Internship

LawSikho is hiring a Principal Associate – Chartered Accountant with 5–10 years of post-qualification experience for a full-time, remote role. The position involves tax compliance, internal audit, team management, and financial oversight for a listed company.

Role and Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate compliance with direct and indirect tax laws, including Income Tax, GST, and TDS.
• Oversee tax planning, assessments, audits, and liaise with tax authorities.
• Stay updated on tax regulations affecting listed companies.
• Develop, implement, and monitor internal control systems in line with statutory and corporate governance standards.
• Conduct periodic internal audits, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with SEBI, Companies Act, and other applicable regulations.
• Lead and mentor a team of accountants and finance executives.
• Allocate work, monitor deliverables, and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Support statutory audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Collaborate with senior management on strategic financial decisions.
• Contribute to preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Eligibility

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5–10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a listed company.
• Strong knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, corporate laws, and financial reporting standards (Ind AS).
• Understanding of international taxation laws is a plus.
• Proven experience in internal audit and internal controls design.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail with a proactive problem-solving approach.
