Details of the Job/Internship
Micromitti is hiring a Chief Legal Officer (CLO) to lead its legal, regulatory, and compliance functions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement legal strategies aligned with business goals.
- Advise the CEO and leadership on legal risks, rights, and obligations.
- Manage compliance frameworks across environmental, data protection, labour, and industry regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and partnerships.
- Oversee corporate governance, statutory filings, board processes, and ESOP management.
- Lead IP strategy including patents, trademarks, and confidentiality protection.
- Manage litigation, arbitration, and external counsel.
- Develop internal legal policies and conduct compliance trainings.
- Build and lead an in-house legal team.
Eligibility
- LL.B required; LL.M preferred.
- 12+ years of legal experience with 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
- Strong background in corporate law, commercial contracts, and compliance.
- Experience in fast-scaling, technology, agri-tech, or manufacturing companies preferred.
- Strong negotiation, advisory, and team leadership skills.
