Trosmic Sports is a next-generation global sports and entertainment platform headquartered in Dubai. The company is launching the World Kabaddi Champions League (WKCL) with 8 international franchises and a multi-decade growth roadmap across media, infrastructure, and digital experiences. Central to its ecosystem is Flux Halo, a $2B+ multi-use arena, alongside a digital-first fan ecosystem incorporating OTT, Web3, NFTs, esports, and data-driven experiences. 

Details of the Job/Internship

Trosmic Sports is hiring a General Counsel / Chief Legal Officer to provide executive legal, risk, and compliance leadership. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Serve as a core C-suite member providing strategic advice on league expansion, global partnerships, and risk management.
• Lead negotiation and structuring of high-value commercial agreements including media rights, sponsorships, OTT, and licensing deals.
• Direct corporate structuring for the holding entity and multiple SPVs; manage legal for M&A and equity financing.
• Establish robust group-wide governance standards.
• Design League Constitution, competition rules, player regulations, and Integrity & Compliance framework (anti-corruption, anti-doping).
• Oversee legal aspects of Flux Halo infrastructure development (real estate, EPC/construction contracts).
• Provide legal oversight for digital platforms including Web3/NFTs, data privacy, and AI.

Eligibility

• 15+ years PQE, including 5+ years in a senior leadership or GC role.
• Experience in top-tier law firms and in-house legal teams.
• Expertise in Sports, Media, Entertainment, Infrastructure, Real Estate, or venture-backed companies.
• Qualified lawyer (LLB/JD equivalent) with admission to practice in a common law jurisdiction preferred.
• Demonstrated success in cross-border transactions, high-value deal negotiations, and building/scaling legal functions.
• Entrepreneurial, hands-on, strategic thinker capable of balancing legal risk with commercial objectives.
• Prior exposure to the GCC/Middle East legal environment preferred.

Salary/Stipend
