Details of the Job/Internship

PP Hegde & Associates invites applications for the position of Chief Legal Officer's to join them at their office in Bangalore.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and review petitions, replies, affidavits, and written submissions.
• Conduct legal research and prepare concise issue briefs for hearings or filings.
• Prepare pleadings. Conduct all stages of cases in Courts including evidence and arguments.
• Coordinate with multiple advocates and officers to ensure case progress and documentation accuracy.
• Maintain updated records of case status, orders, and filing history.
• Prepare internal reports and brief notes for senior counsel and management.
• Track timelines, hearings, and compliance actions, ensuring that deadlines are met.
• Use structured methods and digital tools for organizing legal data and documentation.

Eligibility

• LL.B. or LLM graduates with strong academic or internship experience with 7+ years of experience.
• Early-career advocates looking to move from pure practice into structured, large-scale legal operations.
• Analytical, disciplined, and proactive professionals who thrive on organization and accountability.
• Strong foundation in various fields of law.
• Excellent drafting and research skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills for multi-stakeholder legal projects.
• Ability to summarize complex legal updates into actionable insights.
• Proficiency with Excel (vlookup, Pivot Tables, Filters) for analytical summaries and report generation.
• Comfort with document collaboration and digital filing systems (Drive, SharePoint, etc.).
