Details of the Job/Internship
Sterlite (formerly Sterlite Power) is looking for a candidate for the position of Chief Manager - Legal with 7 to 10 years of experience to join them at their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
Contract Drafting and Review (Drafting, reviewing, and vetting a wide range of contracts including):
- Supply and service contracts
- EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) agreements.
- O&M (Operations & Maintenance) agreements.
- Tender and bidding documents.
- HR & admin-related service contracts.
- Transmission and utility contracts.
- International contracts, NDAs, MOUs, standard T&Cs etc.
- Financing contracts.
- Legal Opinions.
- Land and Title Due Diligence.
- Bid Review and Support.
- Negotiation and Finalization.
- Litigation.
Eligibility
- Legal and industry Background (7-10 years of relevant experience).
- Bachelor’s degree in law.
- Hands-on experience on Power Sector Knowledge of substantive contractual, business, commercial and property laws.
