Details of the Job/Internship

Sterlite Power is hiring a Chief Manager–Legal with 7–10 years of relevant experience to join their office in Gurugram. The candidate must have hands-on experience in renewable energy projects, particularly in Wind and Solar.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and manage a wide range of commercial contracts related to Wind and Solar projects.
• Formulate strategies for resolution of contractual disputes and closure of transactions.
• Provide timely, accurate, and commercial legal advice to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Validate company processes and policies legally.
• Support the creation of security in favour of lenders.
• Liaise with external counsels and vendors.
• Advise on land matters to mitigate risks and disputes.
• Coordinate with acquisition vendors and assist in title report preparation.
• Prepare MIS and manage legal documentation and record-keeping.
• Provide legal support for all project life cycle phases.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of substantive contractual, business, commercial, and property laws.
• Experience in renewable energy projects, particularly Wind and Solar.

Salary/Stipend
