Deendayal Port Authority is one of the Major Ports in the Country functioning under the administrative control of Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways. Prior to 2021, the Port was governed by the Major Ports Act 1964, however after 2021, the Major Port is governed by Major Ports Authorities Act 2021.

Details of the Job/Internship

Deendayal Port Authority is looking for a candidate for the position of Chief Manager with 15 years of experience to join them at their office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the court cases and advise the management in handing right perspective to take appropriate decision in pursuing the cases.
• Responsible for managing a team, establishing goals & objectives, managing performance & deliverables and developing & mentoring staff.
• Will advise and act on legal risk, policy development, litigation managemnet, regulatory competence, contact negotiation etc.

Eligibility

• Degree in Law from a recognized National/International University.    
• Master's degree in Corporate / Maritime Law from a recognized National/International University.
• Upper age limit 55 years.
• 15 years' work experience in Legal wing of Corporates. Proven track record in contract negotiation and drafting.
• Experience in Port/Shipping Sector.
• Practicing experience as an Advocate.

Salary/Stipend

Rs. 2,00,000 Monthly
