Details of the Job/Internship

LawyerLinked is hiring a Civil Lawyer with prior courtroom practice experience to join their office in Bengaluru. ​

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle civil litigation cases across District Courts, High Courts, and specialized Tribunals.
• Draft and review legal documents including Plaints, Written Statements, Applications, and Affidavits.
• Prepare and review Legal Notices, Replies, Agreements, Deeds, and Petitions.
• Appear before various courts for hearings, trials, and final arguments.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and case law analysis to support litigation strategies.
• Advise clients on matters regarding property disputes, injunctions, recovery suits, and partition.
• Coordinate with senior advocates, court clerks, and clients for effective case management.
• Maintain organized case files, track court schedules, and ensure compliance with procedural timelines.

Eligibility

• LL.B degree from a recognized university and enrollment with a State Bar Council.
• Strong working knowledge of the Code of Civil Procedure (CPC), Indian Contract Act, and Specific Relief Act.
• Proficiency in the Transfer of Property Act and Limitation Act.
• Proven experience in civil matters, specifically in property and real estate litigation.
• Familiarity with local court practices and digital e-filing systems.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
