Details of the Job/Internship
Vidhivat Legal Consortium is hiring for the position of Civil Litigation Advocate to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Acquire and handle a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through to resolution.
- Conduct legal research and provide well-reasoned legal opinions.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Prepare for and attend court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
- Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and ensure their needs are met.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) and valid Bar Council registration.
- 1 to 2 years of experience practicing civil litigation law, preferably within a reputable law firm.
- Strong understanding of civil procedure and litigation strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proven track record of successfully handling civil litigation cases.
