Details of the Job/Internship
Elevate is hiring a Commercial Attorney with 4–6 years of legal experience to join their remote Contracts team in India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts, including service, supply, software license, and SaaS agreements.
- Create and update templates, playbooks, and other contracting tools.
- Escalate and resolve contract issues efficiently.
- Collect and document contract-related information.
- Manage or participate in client projects aimed at enhancing contracting efficiency and knowledge sharing.
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal and client use.
- Collaborate across Elevate service lines and customer teams.
- Contribute to task forces focused on improving client service delivery.
Eligibility
- LL.B. required; LL.M. preferred.
- 4–6 years of legal experience, including 3+ years in commercial transactional support.
- Strong skills in drafting and negotiation of various commercial agreements.
- Experience with legal research and memo writing.
- Client service or customer engagement background.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Familiarity with contract management or workflow tools is a plus.
- Strong interest in using legal technology and knowledge management.
