Details of the Job/Internship
Elevate is hiring a Commercial Attorney with experience of 4–6 years to join their Contracts team and support in-house legal departments and their internal business clients.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review contracts and negotiate acceptable alternatives using templates and tools.
- Facilitate escalation and resolution of contract issues.
- Update or draft templates, playbooks, and other contract infrastructure tools.
- Capture information related to supported contracts and matters.
- Participate in or manage client projects to improve contracting efficiency and knowledge sharing.
- Create reports and make presentations to clients and internal teams.
- Participate in task forces to enhance client servicing and team development.
Eligibility
- LL.B. (LL.M. is a plus).
- 4–6 years of legal experience, with at least 3 years in commercial transactional support.
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts including services and supply agreements, software license and SAAS agreements, procurement, and inbound agreements.
- Experience conducting legal research and memorandum drafting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Experience with contract management or workflow software tools is a plus.
- Proven client support and customer service track record.
