Details of the Job/Internship
Elevate is hiring for the position of Commercial Attorney with 4-6 years of experience to join their office remotely.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts, including services agreements, supply agreements, software licenses, and SaaS agreements.
- Propose and negotiate acceptable alternatives to contract terms using approved templates, playbooks, and tools.
- Escalate and resolve contract issues in a timely manner.
- Update or create templates, playbooks, and contract infrastructure tools to enhance efficiency.
- Capture and manage contract-related information to ensure accuracy and visibility.
- Support or lead client projects to improve contracting efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and knowledge sharing.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and insights for clients and internal teams.
- Participate in task forces to improve Elevate’s services and strengthen team capabilities.
Eligibility
- 4–6 years of legal practice, with at least 3 years in commercial transactions, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts (services, supply, procurement, software license, SaaS, inbound agreements).
- Experience conducting legal research and drafting memoranda.
- Strong record of client engagement and customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Experience with contract management/workflow software is a plus.
- LL.B. required; LL.M. preferred.
