Genpact (NYSE: G) is hiring for the position of Commercial Contract Attorney with 6-10 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a range of commercial agreements including Master Services Agreements, NDAs, Statements of Work, Data Privacy Agreements, Licensing Agreements, Subcontractor Agreements, Reselling Agreements, change orders, and other related documents.
• Provide specialized expertise in IT and BPO commercial contracts.
• Utilize MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, workflow tools, and digital repositories effectively.
• Collaborate cross-functionally while taking full ownership of assigned contract documents.
• Manage deadlines, including tight review cycles, possibly adjusting work hours to coordinate with senior lawyers in other time zones.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, proactively escalating and following up on issues.
• Maintain strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for effective relationship management.
• Communicate concisely and clearly, even under pressure, and actively share knowledge.
• Apply deep knowledge of contract law, including intellectual property, indemnity, liability, and IT/BPO-related regulations.

Eligibility

• 6 to 10 years of experience in an in-house corporate legal role.
• Proven experience drafting and reviewing commercial IT/outsourcing contracts.
• Ability to work from Genpact’s Gurgaon office.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to ensure overlap with EU and US stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s (LLB) or Master’s (LLM) degree in law from a reputed university.

Salary/Stipend
