Details of the Job/Internship
Intuitive is looking for a candidate for the position of Commercial Contract with 5 to 10 years of experience to join them at their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating sales contracts, letters and further documents associated with commercial and customer support activities of Intuitive Surgical
- Ensure compliance to company policy and applicable regulations
- Build partnership with Intuitive Surgical’s Finance teams and other internal stakeholders on various commercial and customer support processes and ensure quality contractual support and advice
- Maintain Intuitive Surgical's various contract databases for contracts and other deliverables
- Generate and distribute reports for the purpose of monitoring and measuring contract status and revenue
- Analyze business processes needs/requests and recommend solutions by using system standards and best practices
- Support on specific and on-going departmental projects
- Assist in tender documentation and submission together with Intuitive’s bid team, negotiate terms and conditions to the extent allowed, and manages or supports tender processes as required.
Eligibility
- Minimum Bachelor’s/master’s degree in law i.e., LLB/LLM is mandatory
- Minimum 5-10 years prior experience with commercial contracts, wide experience in negotiating terms and conditions. Experience in public procurement law and/or tender management is of advantage.
- Detail oriented, organized and able to function in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including legal drafting skills).
- Proactive and ability to work independently.
- Working knowledge of standard legal terms and conditions.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Outlook.
- Proficiency/experience with SAP and SAP-based contract management systems, CRM and with SFDC is of advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize duties.
- Ability to travel up to 25% (within India).
