Details of the Job/Internship
Diebold Nixdorf is hiring a Commercial Contracting Counsel with 7+ years of experience to join their remote India legal team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including MSAs, SOWs, licensing, consulting, and NDA agreements.
- Partner with internal teams to structure agreements and mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
- Update contract templates and develop best-practice playbooks.
- Support legal training initiatives for internal sales and legal teams.
- Handle pre-litigation issues and support customer negotiations.
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and operational teams on contract execution.
- Monitor legal trends and manage outside counsel on contract matters.
Eligibility
- Law degree from a reputed university in India / Middle East / Singapore.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in commercial contracting.
- Preferred experience in banking, retail, or FinTech sectors.
- Proficiency in English with excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Prior experience working with contracts in the Middle East or APAC region is desirable.
- Strong judgment, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
