Details of the Job/Internship

BASF is hiring a Commercial Counsel Manager with minimum 10 years of legal experience to join its Coatings business division in Pune.

Role and Responsibilities

Provide strategic and day-to-day legal and compliance advice to business teams.
Review, revise, and negotiate commercial agreements related to sales, procurement, manufacturing, collaboration, and confidentiality.
Support global and local M&A transactions and strategic projects.
Advise on disputes and litigation with support from external law firms.
Implement global policies and ensure legal compliance across India and APAC.
Support compliance-related initiatives and cross-functional projects.
Train internal stakeholders on key legal and compliance topics.

Eligibility

University degree in Law from India.
Minimum 10 years of legal experience.
Prior in-house experience in an international manufacturing environment preferred.
Expertise in commercial transactions, antitrust laws, and M&A.
Fluency in English and Hindi, both written and spoken.
