Details of the Job/Internship
HighLevel is hiring a Commercial Counsel with 6–8 years of experience in commercial transactions to join their remote legal team in India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead all commercial negotiations, including procurement, SaaS, and affiliate agreements.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts such as MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and DPAs.
- Develop risk-balanced legal strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Implement scalable legal processes and contract tracking systems.
- Maintain contract templates, negotiation guidelines, and knowledge repositories.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, procurement, and compliance teams.
- Provide legal support for new initiatives and monitor regulatory changes in contracting.
Eligibility
- JD/LLB with 6–8 years of experience in commercial law, including in-house roles.
- Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and business advisory skills.
- Proven project management experience and ability to drive legal operations.
- Experience in SaaS, technology, or marketing preferred.
- Familiarity with IronClad or other CLM platforms is a plus.
