Details of the Job/Internship
Aryaka is hiring a Commercial Counsel with at least 5 years of experience to join their hybrid team in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and close customer and partner contracts in collaboration with Sales and Senior Counsel.
- Review and negotiate vendor agreements with various internal departments.
- Maintain and organize contract records, including amendments and order forms.
- Ensure agreements reflect business needs and comply with legal standards.
- Improve and streamline contract templates and policies.
- Respond promptly to sales team queries and escalations.
- Research and advise on new laws affecting the business.
- Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a nationally recognized university.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm or IT/ITES company.
- Experience with SaaS and hardware agreements.
- Strong understanding of data privacy, IP, and revenue-related contractual provisions.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations.
