Details of the Job/Internship
Azurity is looking for a dynamic, commercial counsel to lead product promotion compliantly to work at their Hyderabad Location.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality legal advice and counsel on U.S. and Global prescription and over-the-counter pharmaceutical drug advertising and promotional messaging, materials, and activities, speaker program materials and training; the dissemination of scientific communications; non-promotional disease awareness materials; patient assistance materials, programs, and resources; payor marketing materials; and advisory board materials.
- Review business materials (including brand plans, social media materials, and training documents) requiring legal input and advising internal clients, partners, and stakeholders on compliant and appropriate strategies, plans, and tactics.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a range of agreements, including Marketing, Sales, and Commercial Operations services agreements, statements of wor,k and change orders.
- Proactively identify, analyze, and assess the legal risks related to Azurity products based on applicable laws and regulations.
- Support Sr. Director Commercial Counsel in the U.S. with pro hac legal and compliance projects.
Eligibility
- LL.B / LL.M from a reputed college/university, with around 5 years of post-qualification experience, including 2+ years’ experience supporting a pharmaceutical company in MLR review of pharmaceutical products sold in the U.S. and globally.
- Knowledge of U.S. laws and regulations including the Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, HIPAA, and Sunshine Act required.
- Knowledge of global pharmaceutical promotional/advertisement laws is required.
- Veeva experience is a plus.
- Candidates with experience working on innovator or 505(b) (2) products will be preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders globally.
