Details of the Job/Internship

HH Global is hiring a Commercial Legal Counsel with 5–10 years of experience to join their legal department in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, including MSAs, IT/SaaS agreements, and trademark licenses.
• Provide strategic legal advice to business leaders on contractual risks, liability implications, and indemnification provisions.
• Support the business in responding to RFPs by reviewing contractual documents and preparing risk matrices.
• Manage and oversee external legal counsel across different jurisdictions as required.
• Monitor relevant legislation affecting the marketing execution industry and prepare the business for regulatory changes.
• Deliver general legal guidance and training to internal stakeholders to ensure organizational awareness.
• Draft complex framework agreements and ad-hoc clauses tailored to specific regional or client requirements.
• Protect HH Global’s commercial interests while maintaining a solution-oriented approach to deal closures.

Eligibility

• Relevant Legal Qualifications (LLB/LLM) with excellent technical knowledge of English Law.
• 5–10 years of post-qualification experience; in-house counsel experience is highly desirable.
• Robust experience in negotiating and drafting complex, high-value international contracts.
• Proven ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to spot sensitive legal and business concerns.
• Preferred: Experience in marketing execution, print management, or supply chain industries.
• Preferred: International experience working across diverse jurisdictions and cultures.
