Andovan AI is hiring a Company Lawyer for a part-time role, with the possibility of conversion to full-time, to support its legal operations in India. The role involves handling corporate legal matters, regulatory compliance, and interactions with government and statutory authorities across New Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal guidance on corporate and commercial matters, including transactions involving government regulations.
- Liaise with government organisations, regulatory bodies, and statutory authorities for compliance, licensing, registrations, and approvals.
- Handle filings, applications, and submissions with authorities such as MCA/ROC, RBI, DPIIT, GST authorities, and labour departments.
- Manage litigation and represent the company before authorities, tribunals, and quasi-judicial bodies when required.
- Coordinate with external law firms and legal counsel on complex matters.
- Prepare responses to legal notices, government queries, and compliance-related notices.
Eligibility
- LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognised law school in India.
- 1–3 years of experience in corporate law, regulatory compliance, or government liaison work.
- Experience interacting with government bodies, regulators, and public-sector organisations.
- Ability to manage multiple legal workstreams independently and meet deadlines.
