Details of the Job/Internship
Give is hiring for the position of Company Secretary & Compliance Officer with 2+ years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Regulatory & Statutory Compliance
- Maintain and manage a compliance calendar for all Indian and US entities, covering MCA, RBI, FCRA, tax, labor, and applicable US federal/state regulations.
- Coordinate with tax/regulatory advisors and internal teams to ensure timely filings and adherence to all legal obligations.
- Support board governance by preparing agendas, minutes, resolutions, and documentation for Board Meetings, AGMs, EGMs, and committees.
- Maintain statutory records and registers, including members, directors, and secretaries.
- Monitor and communicate updates on regulatory changes that may affect the organization.
- Contracts & Legal Support
- Draft, review, and manage routine client and vendor contracts; escalate complex matters to legal counsel.
- Maintain a central repository of legal templates, executed agreements, and regulatory filings.
- Lead internal coordination for the legal contracting process, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and documentation integrity.
- Qualifications
- Company Secretary (CS) with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
- Additional qualifications in accounting, finance, business, or law will be preferred.
- Prior exposure to commercial contracts is a strong advantage.
- Self-motivated with a passion for learning and adapting to evolving compliance landscapes.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills; adept with compliance and contract management tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to interact confidently with senior leadership and external partners.
- Discreet, trustworthy, and comfortable handling confidential information.
