Startup Movers Private Limited is hiring a Qualified Company Secretary – Corporate Compliance and Advisory with 2+ years of experience for their Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 4-5 professionals handling diverse corporate and legal matters, ensuring efficiency and collaboration.
- Provide expert advice to clients on day-to-day queries related to corporate matters, including funding, compliance advisory, FEMA, and intellectual property rights (IPR).
- Act as the primary contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including legal counsel, auditors, and regulatory authorities, to meet compliance standards.
- Oversee fundraising activities, private placements, debt issuances, and compliance under FEMA, ODI, Trademark, and other regulatory frameworks.
Eligibility
- Qualified Company Secretary with ICSI membership.
- 2+ years of team management experience in corporate and legal matters, preferably in a consultancy or PCS firm catering to startups.
- Strong knowledge of corporate laws, FEMA regulations, and governance practices.
- Hands-on experience with fundraising activities and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional communication, client management, and team leadership skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and corporate governance software/tools.
- Proactive problem-solver with a knack for identifying and mitigating risks.
- Experience in Startup Ecosystem.
