Details of the Job/Internship
VISA Group is hiring a Company Secretary (Entry-Level) to join their office in Kolkata.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assisting in compliance with the Companies Act, 2013, and other applicable laws.
- Supporting Board Meetings, Committee Meetings, and Annual General Meetings (AGMs).
- Preparing agendas, minutes, and resolutions, and maintaining statutory registers.
- Filing forms, returns, and documents with the Registrar of Companies and other authorities.
- Maintaining and updating company records, licenses, and statutory documents.
- Assisting in drafting legal documents, agreements, and policies.
- Coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Monitoring compliance deadlines and ensuring timely filings.
- Supporting corporate governance and compliance reporting.
Eligibility
- Qualified Company Secretary (freshers may apply).
- Good knowledge of corporate laws, compliance, and governance practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good communication and drafting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
