Details of the Job/Internship

Corporate Professionals is hiring a Company Secretary/Lawyer – NBFC and Fintech Practice with experience of 6-8 years to join their office in New Delhi

Role and Responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.
• Identify, assess, and monitor operational, credit, market, and strategic risks.
• Oversee risk across lending, underwriting, and collections processes, including stress testing and scenario analysis.
• Ensure strict adherence to RBI regulations, Digital Lending Guidelines, PMLA, KYC/AML norms, and the IT Act.
• Track regulatory updates and translate them into actionable internal policies and SOPs.
• Lead compliance audits, risk assessments, and act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies like the RBI and FIU.
• Oversee third-party/vendor compliance frameworks and drive internal awareness of ethical standards.
• Draft governance frameworks and enable board-level reporting on risk and compliance metrics.
• Partner with internal audit teams to ensure the closure of audit findings and manage whistleblower mechanisms.

Eligibility

• Qualified Company Secretary or Lawyer.
• 6-8 years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong experience within NBFC, Fintech, or Digital Lending environments.
• Deep understanding of RBI regulations, AML/KYC, PMLA, and general compliance frameworks.
• Proven track record in risk management, policy development, and regulatory liaison.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
